Language Courses in London with Conversation Piece Tuition

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Courses
All course details, including; language, level, course duration and location, are as specified by Conversation Piece Tuition Ltd. Levels are based on the Common European Framework of Reference.

Materials and Transfers
Course materials are not included except where specifically stated. Where materials are included, they may refer to a course book, CDs and/or photocopied materials. Course materials are selected according to the language and level of each course. Where included, course materials are non-refundable.

Public Holidays
Courses which take place on a Monday or Friday may be affected by Bank Holidays. Lessons do not run on Bank Holidays and missed lessons are rescheduled to a date specified in advance in the course description.

Card Payment Fees
There are no fees on UK debit card payments (Solo, Maestro).
Payment made with a credit card or non-UK payment cards are subject to standard bank processing fees:
GBP Credit Card: 2.00%
Non-UK Debit/Credit Card: 2.00%
Card fees are non-refundable.

Alterations by the Company
Conversation Piece Tuition Ltd will do its utmost to provide the courses that have been confirmed, but it must reserve the right to modify or cancel any course if unforeseen circumstances arise. In case of force majeure while a course is in progress, Conversation Piece Tuition Ltd will try to make reasonable alternative arrangements.
Please note that Conversation Piece Tuition Ltd needs a minimum of 8 students to run a course. In the event that we do not have enough students to run your class at your chosen centre, we reserve the right to cancel your course up to 48 hours prior to the start of your course. Should this occur, we will email / telephone you to inform you of this and you will receive a refund.

Liability of the Company
Conversation Piece Tuition Ltd accepts responsibility for ensuring that all parts of the course are supplied as described and that all services shall reach reasonable standard. However the company shall not be liable for the failure or improper performance of these services where such failure or improper performance is attributable to a) the fault of the client, b) the unforeseeable or unavoidable actions of an unconnected third party, c) unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the Conversation Piece Tuition Ltd suppliers control, including force majeure.

Alterations by the Client
If the client wishes to change their booking in any way after they have booked a course, they must inform Conversation Piece Tuition Ltd immediately, by telephone. Conversation Piece Tuition Ltd reserves the right to charge £50 per person per change to cover the additional administration involved, plus any additional charges incurred.

Language Courses UK Refund Policy

More than 7 days before course start date: Conversation Piece Tuition Ltd can offer you a full refund of your course up to one week before the advertised start date.
Less than 7 days before course start date: you may have a refund of the course fee minus a £50 administration fee.
Once the course has started: You will not be entitled to any refund.
Claiming a refund: You must contact Conversation Piece at the time of cancellation, following the stages indicated above, in order to claim any refund. We cannot offer any refunds at all once the course has started.
Missed Lessons: the course is due in full and any lessons you miss cannot be refunded.
Card Processing Fees are non-refundable.

Descriptions
Conversation Piece Tuition Ltd honestly believes that all statements made in its literature or website are factual and correct. Every reasonable effort has been made to describe the venue and environs and to provide the amenities described. Conversation Piece Tuition Ltd cannot therefore be held responsible for any changes that become known after the information was sent out, nor can Conversation Piece Tuition Ltd accept liabilities for happenings outside its reasonable control. Conversation Piece Tuition Ltd undertakes to advise the client of any material changes known to it prior to the beginning of the course.

We invite you to make known to us any medical conditions or other needs which you feel might enable us to provide you with a higher level of personal service and attention. Any information received remains confidential.

General Information
General Information is included in this Conversation Piece Tuition Ltd literature and website for help and guidance to the client. Please read it carefully. The contract incorporating these conditions shall be governed by English law and any matters arising out of it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
