Geographic distribution: Polish is the official language of Poland. It is also used as a second language in some parts of Russia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. This phenomenon is caused by migrations and resettlements as well as frontier changes brought by the Jalta agreement in 1945 after World War II, as a result of which, lots of Poles were left outside the territory of their fatherland. Polish is spoken, naturally, by Polish emigrants living all around the world, also by their children and grandchildren. The total number of speakers worldwide is about 50 million.
Polish Language Courses
Conversation Piece offers a wide variety of Polish language training options to suit your availability and tuition needs. Whether you wish to learn Polish in a one-to-one with a trainer, you and your partner wish to learn Polish together or you and a small group of friends wish to take Polish lessons together, we can arrange for a Polish trainer to come to your preferred location (your home, your office etc.) or we can arrange for you to use our training room (week days only).
Polish Language Teachers: Our teachers recommend a minimum of 1.5 hour lesson per week but this is entirely flexible.
